DANCE SEMMINAR
Welcome to the 2011 exciting opportunity to experience a rich variety of international dance cultures. This year UNDERGROUND ARTS CONNECTIONS, US and DEBUT DANCE ACADEMY, BULGARIA are collaborating in hosting a team of world renowned instructors and choreographers, who will share their excellence in performing and teaching with students of all ages from around the world.

INSTRUCTORS:
Terry Fox - ballet, contemporary, jazz
| Terry has performed with New York City Ballet, American ballet theater, San Fransisco Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, Ballet Chicago. He choreographed for Cirque du Soleil, the preolympic festivals in Chine, and has run multiple international dance seminars over the years.

Myrna Kamara - ballet, contemporary
Myrna has performed with New York City Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Bejar, La Scala, and the big stages in Europe. Ms. Kamara was a member of the New York City Ballet where she danced roles in ballets by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins, Eliot Feld and Lar Lubovitch. During the 1989-90 season Ms. Kamara danced in Bonn, Germany under director Youri Vamos, where the role of the Nubiana from Spartacus was created for her. From 1990 Ms. Kamara was a principal dancer for the Miami City Ballet where she received critical acclaim for her performances in the Balanchine repertoire. Her final company contract was with Maurice Bejart from 1996-1999 in Switzerland. During this period she performed serveral of his ballets. She has also pursued teaching and coaching globally to young talents, and is also currently an acclaimed guest artist.

Ming Davis - ballet, chinese character
| Ming is a student of the Bijin Academy School and a principal dancer in the International Ballet of China. NATIONAL BALLET OF BEIJIN PRINCIPAL. Ming-Yan Davis graduated from the Beijing Dance College and from there began a career with Central Ballet Theater of Beijing. Since moving to the United States, she has performed with several successful dance companies and has been an arts educator for many years. |
Charlene Campbell - ballet, jazz
| Charlene is a dancer from Hubbard Street, American Ballet School, Radio City Music Hall. Ms. Campbell received her training on full scholarship throughout high school at the National Academy of Arts and American Ballet Theatre where she studied on full scholarship, became a member of the school faculty and was an assistant to the director, Patricia Wilde. She was the resident choreographer of Chicago's "Light Opera Works" for seven seasons and on the faculty of Lou Conte's school for the Hubbard Street Dance Company for seven years.Ms. Campbell has danced in and choreographed dozens of operettas, night club acts and industrials |
including the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade Coleco floats for two years, the Los Angeles Biltmore Japan-America conference with Mr. Ronald Reagan and numerous Beverly Hills Diamond Jubilee events such as the Christmas Show with Whoopi Goldberg and Fred Hayman's Rodeo Drive Fashion Show with Cher. She choreographed "Danse Diabolique," an episode of "Murder, She Wrote" starring Angela Lansbury and Marisa Berensen, which received the highest ratings of the season. Ms. Campbell also choreographed "Indestructible People," an ABC-TV prime time special; Johnny Mathis's famous "Misty" for a Japanese TV Special and choreographed a children's ballet video titled "On My Toes," starring Katya Artyushkina from the Bolshoi Ballet School, produced by Ellen Heindel for Prism Entertainment.
Guy De Bock - modern contemporary
| Gui De Bock is a representative of the Paris opera. He graduated in Brussels "Balletto delle Fiandre", specializes in Cannes, in the school of Rossella Hightower. He studied in Brussels, Paris and London art Graham, Limon and Cunningham, Modern Dance with Carolyn Carlson, Edward Cook, Monette Robier, Joseph Rossillio, jazz technique with Matt Mattox, Serge Alzetta, Bruce Taylor, Alvin Mc Duffy, Lin Simonson, Monica Says. Hip Hop video directors Hype Williams and Diane Martel took notice David a.k.a. Cyclone showcased his talents in music video for artist's such as Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Nas, Jay-z and many more.. In 1999 david was hired as a dance acrobat in the 13 time platinum |
production of "Notre Damn de Paris". David went on to write and perform his own pieces under the director "Bill Shannon" (Cirque du Soliel Varikai) in numerous shows all over the globe. David is now the founder of The Center of Attention dance school in NYC.
Rali Hurrle – Ballet
| Rali is a representative of Faubourg School of Ballet, Chicago, USA. She is an American Ballet Theater certified teacher and choreographer. She has a rich international experience with various ballet systems such as Vaganova, Ceccetti, Royal Academy of Dance, as well as various contemporary styles.

Ivo Ivanov - Bulgarian Traditional Dance
| Graduated Bachelor degree with professional qualification choreographer, teacher and specialist music and drama theater. He graduated with a Masters qualification Master of Bulgarian folk choreography at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv. From 2003 to 2008 was lecturer of "Bulgarian Dances " in the National School for Folk Arts “Philip Kutev” - Kotel. | Rosica has accumulated 10 years experience gained in Iceland in the School of Oriental Dzhozi Zariin from Brazil, a student of the great Sabondzhi Lulu. In 2006 attended the convention of people in Finland and met with the very Karolena.Prez 2008 RAXEN visited Britain festival which is held in Blackpool every year with the special participation of Belly Dance Superstars. She has participated in seminars with emblematic Gillian, Rachel Brice, Kami Liddell, Sharon, Kiara, etc. |

PERFORMANCES:
The seminar will be completed with a demonstration of a real life professional audition process and will culminate in a theater show where all seminar students will have a chance to perform.
EVENTS:
In addition to classes, students and their families will be invited to participate in regional tours and cultural events. Combining comprehensive training with cultural experiences in an international programme helps students become disciplined, diverse performers, with connections to performance companies around the world.

Tuition
525 Euros, or 700 USD. Registration fee: 80 Euros, or 100 USD. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Tuition includes 10 class days, four to six class hours per day. Classes will be held at Debut Dance Academy, Varna, Bulgaria. The performance, featuring all seminar participants, will take place on 10 July, 2011.
Accommodations
Underground Arts Connection and Debut Dance Academy have reserved blocks of rooms with special rates at hotels in Varna, Bulgaria. Space is limited, so reservation requests will be assigned in the order they are received. Seminar participants will pay the hotel directly at the time of the stay.
